QUEST Expanded Access (QExA) is a new Medicaid program for seniors, 65 and older, and people of all ages with disabilities.

QExA is a managed care program created by the Department of Human Services (DHS). QExA provides clients with:

  • A better way to get care that includes choosing a doctor who takes care of them and makes sure clients get the care they need
  • Improved access to quality healthcare
  • Expanded services designed to fit the clients' needs

Starting on February 1, 2009, QExA clients will receive Medicaid healthcare services through a health plan.
